Israel 2010

12 photographs on light boxes | 13x18 cm

Canvas reveals the self-reflexive powers of the viewer as the responsibility for the interpretation is shifted to the viewer as the photographs reveal nothing whatsoever with which to decode the image. All we see is people who, because they are presumably Israeli's, are automatically invested with political connotations.

The darkness is like an empty canvas, waiting to be filled in.
